Winter is Coming – and so is our 2022 Program!

It’s been a while since we last spoke – and so much has happened in that time. The most exciting of which is that we’ve cooked up a brand new Festival for you. In a couple of weeks we will launch our 2022 program, and we’re bursting at the seams to share what we have in store. It’s special, it’s different, and it’s bringing us back together – at long last.

After a strange couple of years, it’s genuinely so wonderful to be writing to you with good news on the horizon. Looking forward to spilling the beans in a couple of weeks.

Speak soon,
Rachel and Team Bondi Fest.

Mark Your Diary

Bondi Festival 2022 lands in Bondi Beach from 1-17 July 2022!

There’ll be ice skating, ferris wheeling and a bevy of unique arts experiences to get excited about. Check out our full program announcement on Thursday 19 May, and be warned: this year, tickets are strictly limited, so get in quick to avoid missing out.

Make sure you’re following us on facebook and insta to catch the program as it drops.

Farewell Phil!

Last month we bid farewell to one of our beloved co-Festival Directors, Phil Spencer. Phil will be deeply missed by the team here, as he jets off to the Sydney Opera House to work in their Children, Families and Creative Learning team. On leaving the Festival, Phil says,

“I feel so lucky to have had the suburb of Bondi, and its coastline, as a programming playground since we started the festival many moons ago. We’ve worked in all sorts of ways to get artists telling stories and making magic happen at the festival, and it’s all been done with lots of love and laughter. I will miss the energy of the artists we bring together under one roof, the big ideas that get thrown around and the winter morning walks. But I’ll be back as a punter this July to see what joyful and playful live experiences Rachel and the team have dreamed up.”

Good luck Phil!
