Bondi Festival and Waverley Art Prize have officially launched! 

We were pleased to welcome you to Bondi Festival & Waverley Art Prize Opening. This year’s festival promises to shake Bondi and Sydney’s creative scene with amazing art, world-class musical performances, and unmissable shows!

The celebration of the 38th Waverley Art Prize highlights excellence across the local arts community and the broader Australian contemporary visual arts sector, showcasing 39 finalists, selected by the acclaimed artists and Judges Julia Gutman & Joan Ross, and competing for the $15,000 Open Prize!

We are thrilled to share with you the $15,000 Open Prize winner of this year’s Waverley Art Prize: 

Congratulations to Bonte Leighton-Dore for winning the 38th annual Waverley Art Prize with her beautiful painting “Silent meeting, a blue sky, South Coast”.
