We’re back from 5 – 21 July!

What’s on the opening weekend?
Everyone’s invited to the prestigious 38th iteration of the Waverley Art Prize, celebrating excellence across the local and national contemporary visual arts sector, on the 5 July at Bondi Pav Gallery.
On the following day, we are honoured to bring the world premiere of Proud, Proud Woman: A Ruby Hunter Tribute (6 July) to the Bondi Pavilion Theatre. Featuring a lineup of talented First Nations singers and musicians, including Emily Wurramara and Dan Sultan, join us at this special event as we celebrate the enduring legacy of the late Ngarrindjero, Kokatha and Pitjantjatjara singer-songwriter.
Explore immersive stories
On the second week of the festival, don’t miss the hilarious Sydney premiere of Burnout Paradise (11 – 13 July) from the award-winning collective Pony Cam! Watch on as four performers tackle a series of wild tasks on treadmills, humorously highlighting the labour, recklessness and euphoric optimism that precedes burnout.
Dive into the fascinating gothic live-board game show Blood on the Clocktower: Live! with storyteller Harry Jun who’ll be guiding you through skillful bluffs, accusations and executions. For fans of social deduction games like Mafia and Werewolves, comes this live comedy special.
Be amazed by the internationally award-winning HELIOS (11 – 14 July), the modern re-telling of the ancient myth of the son of the Sun God Helios by UK masters of storytelling Wright & Grainger and starring Jamie MacDowell.
And many more!
