Step into an oasis of art, tucked away in the heart of Bondi.

The Waverley Art Prize celebrates excellence across the local arts community and greater Australian contemporary Visual Arts sector. From 3 July, you can experience an incredible showcase of work from this year’s finalists, all from the tranquil sanctuary of Bondi Pavilion Gallery.

The Waverley Art Prize enters its 40th year of celebrating local artistic excellence, championing the outstanding achievements of the arts community and greater Australian contemporary visual arts sector.

From its early conception in 1986, the Prize has been a staple in the community and recognises outstanding paintings, print, drawings and mixed media by emerging and established artists. Presented in partnership with Waverley Woollahra Art School, this is the longest running artist-run initiative in Waverley.
