Dangerously funny and deliriously sexy: sketch comedy that’s as smart as it is filthy.

Deep dive into the hilariously warped minds of Hot Department as they present an anthology of unhinged fan favourites and never-before-seen sketches. Having perfected their own brand of lunatic comedic brilliance, as well as crying in front of a mirror, Honor and Patrick serve up an exceptional mix of sketch comedy that’s as smart as it is filthy.

Not for the faint-hearted, this brother and sister duo’s chaotic, psycho-surreal, camp, sexy and deeply funny comedy has built their own international, cooked cult-following. Prepare for an unhinged fever dream of quick cuts and madcap chaos.

★★★★ ‘WTF.’ The Age

★★★★ ‘Let’s face it “sexy” and “sketch comedy” rarely go together, but Hot Department are the exception.’ Chortle (UK)

★★★★★ ‘Pure, lunatic brilliance.’ Lilithia Reviews

About The Artists

Hot Department is the immaculate conception of Honor Wolff and Patrick Durnan Silva.

Having both been accepted to the most prestigious Drama School in the nation, The University of Ballarat, the two met and forged a formative friendship, bound by their deep, mutual appreciation of 30 ROCK, Drop Dead Gorgeous and sad women crying in movies (ie Julian Moore).

Graduated and disaffected by the Australian Acting industry, as they were not hot enough to be on neighbours, they found their fix for attention by making annoying, absurdist theatre which naturally evolved into a unique brand of unhinged, camp sketch comedy.

Today, Hot Department is an award winning comedy duo that has built an international cult following for their distinctive brand of surreal, twisted humour, that effortlessly mixes sketch, musical theatre and mutual masturbation.

Hot Department is Australia’s sickest, sketch superstars and should be on everyone’s radar.
