Keen to get in front of the crowd at Bondi’s biggest arts festival?

Applications are now open for the Bondi Festival Locals Live. We’re on the search for musicians, DJs or roaming performers who live, play or work within Waverley LGA! This is your chance to perform live at various stunning locations during Bondi Festival 2026 and showcase your creativity to the local community and beyond.

The program is open to performers and musicians of all genres and styles, however, as our audience includes younger people – it must be appropriate for all ages. Please note, this will be in an open-air setting and performances on the day will be subject to weather conditions. All performers are also required to have their own equipment as we will not be able to provide anything beyond a marquee and maybe a table or chair. For the full requirements and terms and conditions, see below.

If this sounds right up your alley, please read the Terms and Conditions, as well as the information in the dropdown below for everything you need to know before you apply.

FAQs

Can I bring my own signage and merchandise?

Any additional signage that you would like to bring must be approved by Bondi Festival prior to the event. Please note, it is up to our discretion whether it is approved or not.

Can I swap my time with another artist if it’s more convenient for me?

All changes must be made through us, as we run a pretty hectic schedule and it could impact how we run that day.

Bondi Festival will be responsible for choosing where and when you perform.

Can I sell tickets to my performance?

No, you are not permitted to sell tickets to this event.
