“Never before has eating your greens been so musical and so hilarious. The Vegetable Plot are hands-down my 5-year-old’s favourite band of all time.” – Phil Spencer, Festival Director

ARIA-nominated children’s band The Vegetable Plot are a bunch of musical food revolutionaries on a mission of Love and Peas.

Armed with catchy tunes, funky grooves, tasty harmonies and some truly rotten puns, these roots and soil musicians will forever change the way you think about vegetables. So come and get fresh with Aspara Gus, Ru Barb and Sir Paul McCarrotney for a show packed full of veggie bangers like “Avocado”, “Mr Potato”, “Pajamazon Jungle” and “Waiting for a Bus”, and learn how to do the jumping bean, shake your stems and twist and sprout. Be warned, these songs will continue to germinate inside your heads long after the show has ended, and don’t be surprised if your kids suddenly want to eat some broccoli on the way home.

NOMINATED: Best Children’s Album, The ARIAS (Season Two album)
WINNER: Children’s Category, International Songwriting Competition 2019
WINNER: Best Children’s Show, Sydney Fringe 2014

“What really kept me engaged was the sheer level of lyrical intellect and complexity, something that promises to keep the parents entertained while the kids are having a blast. Excellent morals delivered in a wonderful way by passionate people.” What’s On Sydney
