Alyssan Russell’s new one-woman show SHITSTORM is a series of stories and stupid comments about living with less than ideal circumstances.

When diagnosed in late 2014 with a carcinoid saccrococcygeal terratoma – a massive tumour on her coccyx – Alyssan was in the middle of writing a one woman show about the humourous absurdities of life. Life imitated art. Medically, catastrophically, laughably.

In SHITSTORM Alyssan will regale you not only with stories of overcoming illness and the horrors and humour of piecing together ones own body, but the simply ridiculous tales of what it is to live this crazy life – to endure the shitstorm.
