Skip, Bull, Runt, and the Australian Cricket Team are on a tour of India, desperate to keep their number one ranking. The only problem is, they’re losing. Badly. For the acerbic Bull this is a matter of national pride – we can’t go back to Australia number two. For Skip, he’s under the pump, he leads by actions not by words and his actions are leaving a lot to be desired at the moment. Then there’s Runt, new to the team but not to cricket. He’s in the twilight years of his career and desperate to impress his teammates and lacking a little upstairs. What happens when jealousy, panic and desperation run wild? Bad decisions. Quickly.

Winner of the Sydney Fringe Award for Best Written Play where it enjoyed a sold out season, Caught Out is a fast paced satire that looks back on one of the darkest days in Australian cricket history and pulls apart the dressing room dynamics that sent the world media into a spin, even causing then PM Malcolm Turnbull to condemn their actions.

With the Cricket World Cup in full swing followed by the Ashes, now is the time to see the satire that David Warner wouldn’t want to see.
