ADDED SHOW! 8.30pm, Thursday 26 July, Little Theatre
From the sound of coconuts scraped to haunting traditional song, BUBU shows the impact of capitalism on the way of their people, from family relations to eroding sand. Harnessing their primal lineage they move beyond critique and offer strength, forgiveness and love as a viable solution.
In a space where the performativity of Pacific Islander culture meets the contemporary world of theater, BUBU tells a story is told of toxicity, of behavior unchallenged.
