“Gladdy Drawing Club create a space for life drawing that is at once inclusive, unique and a little bit extra, and I’m thrilled to be partnering with them to bring these life drawing classes to the Pavilion Gallery.” – Rachel Chant, Festival Director
Bondi Festival and Gladdy Drawing Club team up for the performative life-drawing collab of your dreams.
Gladdy Drawing Club bring their iconic inclusive and body-positive life drawing classes to Bondi, with a special Festival twist. Each event across the season boasts its own secret ingredient, with themed line-ups featuring guest artists, burlesque performances and drag.
Stepping outside of their regular offering at the Lord Gladstone Hotel, Bondi Fest x Gladdy Drawing Club is a class and performance all in one.
GDC is a safe space for women and the LGBTQIA+ community, committed to making sure everyone can have a wildly fun time but still feel comfortable, whoever they are. An incredible environment in which to have a yarn with Sydney’s best artists, designers, animators, architects and more – while also working on your drawing practice in a warm and uncompetitive setting.
