“I am so excited for Rosie Rai to bring her NYC-style, request-fuelled piano bar to Bondi. I plan on spending every spare minute in 1800-REQUEST during the last week of the Festival.” – Rachel Chant, Festival Director

1800-REQUEST: Bondi Festival’s request-fuelled, singalong (optional) queer piano bar makes its way to Bondi for the last week of the Festival.

Settle in for the night at our song-filled speakeasy with virtuosic keys diva and spontaneous songstress, Rosie Rai, who performs a setlist entirely of your making. Whether it’s a well-loved classic from Rosie’s far-reaching repertoire, or a new and fresh tune, Rosie bravely (and perhaps foolishly) accepts your requests live onstage.

Sit back and be serenaded, challenge Rosie with a wild request, or even join her for a song if you’re feeling bold. Will you bask in the sultry glow of jazz classics? Boogie on to disco late into the night? Or jump in on a raucous Disney sing-along? In this night of free-wheeling musical mayhem, it’s up to you.

In this piano bar of your very specific dreams, Rosie Rai delivers a brand new piano cabaret soiree each night. Head along for a pre-show tune or stay the whole night – this five-star bar is open all night.
